A Visit from the TOOTH FAIRY!!!

There is nothing like pulling your own teeth out!!! What a little studett!!! Two weeks ago Saturday we were looking at my little sweetie's loose tooth.....it was loose, but not to the point where it was hanging on by a thread. I asked her "Can I just push it and it will come out?" She looked at me in horror and said, "NO! it is not ready yet" Well, she disappeared for a minute and the next thing I know she comes walking out with her tooth in hand!!! She just went in the bathroom and pulled it right out!!! What a kid!! With previous experience, loosing a tooth was always a traumatic experience. But not with this kid!!!
Her very first tooth!!! She was so excited to be able to put her name on the tooth chart at school!!
Under the pillow it goes!!!
And whala............ the tooth fairy delivers. $3 dollars for a tooth!! What? Doesn't she know about the economy right now. Maybe she gave extra for pulling it out herself. Just this last weekend she did it again. She pulled out her other bottom tooth!!! She is going to be rich at this rate!!!

St. Patricks Day!

So we started off St. Patricks Day with green pancakes and green eggs. They loved the pancakes but wouldn't touch the eggs. I gave them to my little bug and she just ate them all up!!! I had to laugh because my other girls just looked at her in horror as she ate them. This is how the day ended up. The day after St. Patricks day we woke up to this disaster in the kitchen. The leprechauns came and played a trick on us. There was messes everywhere....from the girls rooms, down the hall, and into the kitchen. Then the leprechauns sent the girls on a scavenger hunt. The started at my oldest's leprechaun trap.....the clue said they would find some gold where your mom washes your clothes........

They found a bunch of chocolate gold!!! Then they were sent to find the leprechauns favorite cereal for the next clue.
Lucky charms of course!!! Then they were off to find a bubbly drink where mom keeps her pots and pans.
Green Shasta is what they found. Last but not least they were off to the oven to find their treasure...........
Yummy green bowls of tasty treats!!!

The girls had a blast!!! Until we had to clean up the mess the leprechauns made.

I had a lot of fun doing this, but I was tormented all day trying to decide if I was going to. I have never done anything on St. Patricks day before because I didn't want to create another fictitious character to fib to my children about. But it was fun.....and we will see if those crazy leprechauns return next year. (just so I give credit where credit is due.....I looked one of Lisa's bloglinks and one of her friends did this and I thought it was a cute idea).

Fork or No Fork!!! That is the Question?

Okay so my little bug normally eats with her fingers and I decided it was about time she start using a fork and spoon. Well, one night we were eating spaghetti....her version is hamburger and plain noodles. NO sauce.....way to messy for her to feed herself. So I give her a baby fork to to try and the girls decided to give her this big huge fork. Should she use the fork or not?

NOT!!!!! Who needs a fork when you can just pick up the bowl and dump it on yourself and everywhere else. That's the reason for no sauce!!!

Or she can just lick it out too..............that works!!
All done!!!! When she is finished with dinner she just rips off her bib and dumps everything on herself. Like I said before, the reason for NO sauce!!! This little one sure enjoys eating. I don't think I have found one thing she won't eat. She love veggies, fruit, and meat!!! Yahoo!! Do we have one that is not a picky eater........just wait until her sisters get to her. I will enjoy it while I can!!!

Day Out With DAD!!!!

Last weekend while my little bug was still recuperating from RSV, daddy took the other girls for a day out on the town. The highlight of the day was standing right where High School Musical was filmed. Dad took them to East High..............and they thought that was the coolest thing. My little bug kept saying "we went to High School Musical". That actually was the end of their day. They also had a lot of fun at the Living Planet Aquarium.

The girls had a lot of fun looking at all the fun underwater things....giant lobsters, octopus, seahorses, lots of fish, turtles, frogs, and this stingray that my oldest almost touched. Daddy said that none of the girls were brave enough to touch one. That is okay. Who wants to touch a slimy, scary looking thing anyway. They had a lot of fun with dad and loved getting out of the house since we have all been cooped up. Thanks daddy!!!! As for my little bug and I.....we just sat home and cried and couldn't wait for all of them to come back!!!!

Happy, Happy, Birthday!!!

My little bug turns 1!!!!!! Yea!!! We have a tradition in our family that when we celebrate a #1 birthday, my little one gets her own cake to dig into. Or so that is the objective!!! Well, as you can see from the picture above....she didn't get into it very much. This is how she looked right after we took her out of her high chair. Wow, what a mess she is!! Ha, Ha!!! Not only did she not want to touch it, when I put her hand in the cake.....she gagged!!! I guess she truly is my daughter...she passed the test.
Oh well, since she didn't get in her cake....we got to eat it!!!! How cute is her cake? I bought this pan that makes a giant size cupcake, then my friend Carole came over and helped me decorate it with yummy butter cream frosting. It was really tasty, my little one missed out!!!!

She did love opening her presents though!!! Wrapping paper and tissue paper are her favorite gifts.!!! She did love her new baby though. She kept going back to it every time she would open another present. We loved having having the Balls and Turners over to help us celebrate.

I know I have mentioned in the past the this little one is very high maintenance!!! Holy cow, I love her.........but she requires more attention then my other three combined. I kept thinking to myself the past year..."If I can just make it to her 1st birthday" Well, the birthday has come and gone and.......................yep still high maintenance. I guess that is just her personality, so we will just keep trying to keep up with her demands.

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Happy Anniversary to us!!!! It was a milestone!!! 10 years whaoooo!!! We celebrated by spending Valentine's weekend at sunny San Diego. Thanks to my awesome friend Azuree (love ya) and my mom (of course I love ya too) who kept my girls while we were gone.
It wasn't all that sunny ,but we still had a lot of fun anyway. In fact the only day that was sunny was the day we left. We stayed at a resort on Coronado Island. We were only there a few short days but we got a lot in. This is a picture of my hunk of a husband in front of the bay just off our hotel room.
The thing I wanted to do the most while we were there was to go to the temple. It is one of my favorites, even more so since we were able to go inside. Wow, it is beautiful. This picture doesn't do it justice.

One of the mornings we were there we went on a whale watching tour on a 40 foot sailboat. We were a little nervous about getting sea sick, but both of us did good. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see a whale, but we did see a lot of dolphins. They were so fun to watch. Diving and jumping right in front of us. Our captain said that he had been taking people out on tours for about 4 years and our trip was only the 4th time he had been out during whale watching time and not seen a whale. Just my luck huh?
This picture is of one of the houses along the beach as we set out for the big ocean. Can you imagine owning this thing. Big house with your own private beach? Anyone want to come over for a play date?

The two Love birds!!! It was freezing!!! That is why we are sporting some pretty fashionable, huge, rubber coats!!! I even had a scarf and gloves on!!

We had a great trip!!! It was hard to get me there, because I was so worried about leaving my kids. But once I was there I didn't want to come home. I even tried to change everything so we could stay one more day. The kids did great and I can't wait for my next trip away!!!

RSV Stinks!!!

I will tell you what, after this week I wouldn't wish RSV on anyone. My girls have all been sick the last few weeks with a terrible cough. They sound horrible, but they didn't really run a fever. So we figured we would just let it run its course and I decided not to take them to the doctor. Which is very unusual for me, because I am one of those paranoid mothers who takes their children to the doctor for everything. Well, when my little bug got it last weekend I broke down. Besides she was running a fever, so we just went over to the Morgan clinic. I wanted to try out the new doctors, no big deal....I figured they would just tell me she had an ear infection. Well, not so. He said she has RSV. What? So I admit I freaked out at first because you always hear such horrible things about RSV. Then I kept wishing I would have gone to my regular doctor. I brought her home and have been giving her some TLC all week. I am exhausted!!! Our nights have been worse than when I brought any of my newborns home. She is still sick, but we are on the down side I think. So a word of advice......if you have little ones please try to keep them away from all the gunk. It has not been fun!!

The only plus out of this whole thing is........ it got us out of speaking on Sunday!!!! Yahoo!!!!
Too bad for all of you in my ward they rescheduled us. I let you know when it is so you can plan a trip for that Sunday.

Saturday Afternoon Fun!!

So it is time for a new post don't you think!!!! This was from a long time ago but I keep forgetting to post it. One day I was working in the kitchen (before my little bug was crawling) and I set her on the floor beside me. The next thing I know I look down and she is under the bar stool. I have no idea how she mastered that one. There are 4 bars all around the bottom of the stool and they are not very far off the ground. Like I said, she wasn't even crawling yet. Not even scooting. It was pretty much sitting and that was it. So the tricky little thing played under that stool for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. She was having so much fun she attracted all her big sisters over to play with her. They were pretending they were animals in cages. What imaginations kids have. I wish I could be as care free as they are.

American Idol

Okay so I really hate, but love watching American Idol. But tonight I hated it!!! Holy cow, what kind of show is this. Why would you keep the drama, I love myself girl....I think her name is Tatiana over the 16 year old black girl that can really sing....Lanisha!!! And of all people to keep Norman or Nick whatever the heck he is!!! This is a singing competition not the Last Comic Standing. I guess they have to keep it interesting!!! Sometimes I tell myself I will never watch the show again and then I always do!!

The things kids do!!!

This may not be funny to anyone but me, but I had to post it so I would remember it. Yesterday, I picked up my little boss from preschool and she was a little upset. There was a girl in her class that cried for her mommy the whole time and at the very end she said she needed a night night. So when I picked her up my little boss said "I am mad at you!!" I hadn't seen her for two hours what could she possibly be mad at me about. She continued.."I needed you!" So her teacher told me the story of the other little girl and we figured my little boss was just mimicking the other girl. Anyway, when we got in the car she continued her ranting about how mad at me she was and then she said "I need a night night too" (which she never says). I am not kidding, within 2 seconds she was out. Asleep in her car seat and slept all the way through picking up her sisters from school. Then she still slept through me carrying her in the house and to bed. She must have been tired. I should have grabbed my camera, but didn't. I love my kids they never let me have a dull moment.

Once there was a snowman....

Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman. Once there was a snowman tall, tall, tall. That is the new song my little boss has learned from going to primary!! This is the result of a fun day spent out in the snow. This is about the only snow activity my kids get to enjoy since I can stay in the house and watch and they can play outside in the cold. I am such a scrooge!!!! Doesn't their snowman look awesome? We need to find a few more accessories.

They love eating snow!! YUK!! But I did give them the little pep talk about not eating yellow snow.

My oldest did all the snowball rolling!! She is pooped!!

My girls love to play in the snow!! I on the other hand will welcome spring anytime soon!!

Fast Sunday!!!

Today was fast Sunday, which if I am going to be honest, I dread sometimes. And other times I really feel the spirit, even more than if there was a speaker. Anyway, today was one of those days. My little teenager has looked forward to fast Sundays every month for the past 3 months. She usually is one of the first ones up there. I love how she sets such a good example for her little sisters. She has such a sweet spirit. She is not scared and knows exactly what she wants to say. Well, today she talked her little sister into wanting to do it also. My little sweetie was so scared, she kept saying "I want to"..."No, I will wait for next month". She finally decided she wanted to, so I can't deny her that opportunity. But of course, someone had to go with her. I got to be the lucky one that got to go. And you can't just take her up there and then not do it yourself. So I bore my testimony, which I have a very strong one at times and weak at others. Today I did feel the spirit and I had so much in my heart but for some reason I could not say it. I sounded like a blubbering idiot!!! And I kept saying the wrong words. Hopefully, I am not the only one out there that feels that way sometimes. I am so thankful for the gospel and the happiness that it brings and I am thankful for Temples and the blessings you receive and promises that you make there. I went to the Temple 3 times last month and I can't believe what a difference it makes. I have so many things that I am blessed with and I try to remember those things when I have one of those days. I have to apologize in advance to all my ward members who are reading this...........not only did you have to listen to me today, but I you get to hear from me next month. I let you know so you can miss that day. I hope I won't sound like such an idiot if I have it written down. I am so proud of my girls and the desires they have to make good decisions. They help me more than I help them.

Happy Birthday to you.....

One year older and wiser too. Happy Birthday to you!!!! Happy Birthday to my little sweetie. We celebrated by going to Olive Garden for dinner... YUMMY!!! She loves the grilled chicken, broccoli, and noodles. We had a lot of fun. We surprised her by bringing her best friend with us. She was so excited. Then while we were at the restaurant, we asked the waiter if they could sing Happy Birthday to her. So the waiter came back and yelled. "ATTENTION everyone, we are celebrating a very special birthday today..." everyone clapped. Then they all sang to her and told her Happy Birthday. Her eyes were so big and she had a perma-grin. It was so much fun!!!
Then we came home to open presents and have cake!!! A donut cake that is!!! She thought that was so funny!!! She got some new outfits for her American girl doll, a barbie luv bug, a barbie DS (ha, ha, at least that is what we called it), and a little dog named Lucky that does all kinds of tricks through voice commands. We all had a great day!!! I can't believe how fast my girls are growing. Time flies doesn't it.

Chocolate faces, sugar on your teeth, lots of smiles, being with your sisters and best friend .....what more can you ask for on your birthday!!! Love ya sweetie!!!

It Starts...........!!

Okay so I figured maybe 5th grade or middle school I would have to start worrying about this stuff. But in Kindergarten!!! My little sweetie came home with this in her backpack!!! She was so embarrassed by the whole thing. This little boy in her class came to school with it today along with some bubble gum and a pencil. Anyway, I took it out of a red envelope and it read, "I love you. I like your hair. You look beautiful. Marry me. love Gabe". How cute is that? I know he must have had some help to write it because all the words were spelled correctly. I read it out loud to everyone and my little sweetie was about to die of embarrassment. She said " I don't like him, mom!!" This little boy is so smitten with her. He gives her hugs everyday and is always smiling at her. I think we are just getting a taste of whats to come. Wish me luck!!

Dinosaurs!!!

So I have been trying to figure out how to post a picture or video off the web, but I guess I am not smart enough to do it. And because I was one of the few who followed the rules stated at the
beginning of the program.....I don't have an awesome picture to show you of our awesome day... Walking with the Dinosaurs. We went to the Energy Solutions center today to see the huge dinosaurs. I don't know if any of you have seen the advertisement on this or not, but it didn't even do it justice. I couldn't believe how life like the dinosaurs were........and how big!!! The girls were so excited!! From the moment they woke up they were screaming and hollering. When we got there I had remind them that the dinosaurs were not real so not to be scared. Yea right, Grama Sindy kept telling them that the workers were in back feeding the dinosaurs so they wouldn't come and eat them. Thanks a lot Grama!!! I am going to have a bed full of girls tonight!! J/K they didn't even get scared. There eyes may be sore from having them open so big and a tummy ache from all the popcorn and cotton candy. I have to say I was wondering about it from the very first though..... there were some dinosaur eggs that hatched with these cute little baby dinosaurs ooooooh.......then another dinosaur came and ATE one. What? You should have seen the look of the girls faces!! Like what just happened!! Anyway, the girls had a blast!! I even took my little bug and she loved it. Every time the dinosaurs would fight or growl really loud she would laugh!!! The best part was definitely at the end with the T-Rex... it was so loud it was rumbling us in our seats. If you want to see some great footage of the dinosaurs go to this website http://www.dinosaurlive.com/ or they have a lot of video on Youtube from all those you didn't listen to instructions. Just google walking with dinosaurs and then you will find it. Thanks for going with us Grama and Crapa.

I love to see the Temple

Yesterday we had so much fun!!! The girls were out of school for the day so we decided to go to the open house of the Draper Temple. It was so awesome for the girls to see inside the Temple. When my hubby and I go they always ask why they can't go with. Well, this time they did. They were in AWE!!! They loved all the chandeliers that were in there. My oldest said....."Mom are they made of diamonds." The baptismal font was another one of their favorite things. I am so glad we decided to spend the day like this. I love my family and I am glad that we are sealed so we can be with each other always. An eternal family is a very special blessing that I hope I never take for granted. I am glad my girls got to see inside the Temple at such a young age so they can work really hard to get there when it comes time for them to get married. They got to see how beautiful the brides room and celestial room was and I hope they always remember it.

The other two things that the girls loved was the cookies at the end!!! I had to stop them at two each. And they loved the bus ride from the church to the Temple. We were in one of those big charter buses. We could have been on that all day and that would have been totally fine with them. The Temple is beautiful and yes, I forgot my camera!!!

Strike in the New Year!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! This picture was taken right after we rang in the new year. At 12:05 am and by the look of my little boss's face she is definitely tired!!!! She did pretty good, but at the very end she was ready for bed. We spent the night with a bunch of our friends at the bowling alley!!! There was karaoke!!! This is the girls singing jingle bells with all the other kids that were there. They had a lot of fun. The karaoke turned into a kid singing fest!!! Jingle bells, The Ants go Marching, Mary had a Little Lamb, and of course.......High School Musical. The adults did have some time to embarrass themselves. Not me of course!!! Oh and my little sweetie did not hesitate to sing with all the boys. How Cute is she!!!

And of course....there was lots of bowling. The girls loved it!!! And I even beat my husband!!! I guess practicing on the Wii helped. Just kidding!! We all had a lot of fun!!! There isn't any pictures of my little bug, but she came too and lasted until about 10:30 is all. Friends, food and fun what more can you ask for to bring in the New Year!!
