Our Last Day!!!

Our last day at the happiest place on earth was spent in Toon Town!!! The girls had a blast here and we didn't feel rushed or crazy. Their favorite ride today was the Roger Rabbit ride and the roller coaster. We got to put the kids in Jail, take a ride on the fire truck, and mail some letters.

I think Karli had the most fun here!!! She played on the crates, talked on the phone...forever, and blew up a building with TNT!!! Look how happy she is!!!

Lexi, Dad, and Kena tried to pick up this massive dumbell...but they were all unsuccessful!

We also got to see Micky and Minnie!!! Got their autographs too!!! Yay!!! And proof that mom actually went with!!!

We had an absolute blast!!! Very tired and worn out but so glad we came.. Some of the things I will always remember....

Day Four--Adventureland/Frontierland

Up and ready to go a little slower today!!! We are all feeling a little worn out!!! Today we tackled Adventure land and Frontier land. Our first stop was Pirates of the Caribbean!! The girls were a little scared at first by the darkness, but ended up really liking the ride. The best part was we only had to wait about 25 min. It pays to get up and get to the most popular rides first. Shelby and Dad went on Indiana Jones and had a lot of fun. The girls were practicing being monkeys in Tarzan's Tree house.

We also got to see Aladdin and Jasmine!!! More autographs, yay!!!!!!

The most anticipated part of the day was getting their faces painted. We had seen the faces of all the little girls for the past three days and the girls could not wait to get their faces done. They turned out awesome don't you think?

Even Karli sat still long enough for them to paint her face. "Peety" she said!!! (translated...pretty)

The girls and I went on the sailing ship Columbia while Karli took a much needed nap!!!

Then the girls went with their dad to Tom Sawyers Island to find buried treasure and look for pirates. They had a lot of fun!!!

We made it just in time to see Princess Tiana with a little coaxing we ended up being the last in line. They loved her!!! We also got to get their picture kissing a frog. Yes, really!!!

This is how the castle looked at night!!!! So pretty!!!! Tonight when they lit up the castle it snowed!!!! It was so fun. The girls missed it because they were having to much fun with their dad on splash mountain, and the other girls were dead asleep. But I got to enjoy it!!!!

This is the end of day 4!!! We missed the fireworks again tonight. Girls were too tired and wet from splash mountain. I forgot to mention that the girls got daring today and started going on big rides with their dad. Their favorite ride today was big thunder mountain railroad!!!! They said they screamed their heads off!!!

Day Three--California Adventure

We were up bright and early again!!! 6:30 am...I'm getting tired. We got in the park and B-lined it straight to Nemo.. The line was only 30 minutes long...how did we luck out? The girls loved it!! It was definitely worth the wait.

After that we headed to buzz lightyear!! The girls had a blast...Karli even had a blast shooting the gun. I think this was her favorite ride!!

Then we continued our adventure in Tomorrowland at Innoventions!!! The things of the future!! There was a dining room table in there that looked and felt like a river and the girls could touch it and make it ripple. Then we went into a room where a girl told them a bedtime story of Peter Pan. The even got to take part in the story by shooting at the pirates with the canon. And Dad got to look for Tinkerbell.

Our last stop in Tomorrowland was the monorail. We got to sit in the very back with the glass all around us. The girls had a great view of the park from here.

Then off we went to California Adventure to Ariel's Grotto to have lunch with the Princesses. Makena's was looking forward to this the whole day!!! The meal was awesome and we got to meet 5 Princesses. Of course there was Ariel, Snow White, Princess Aurora (Makena's favorite), Cinderella (Dad's favorite), and Pocahontas (Lexi's favorite). The came to our table and talked with the girls, signed all their books, and we got a photo of each one. Wow, what fun!!!

Then we went and met Mater and Lightening McQueen!!! 6 thumbs up!!!

We continued our adventure in "It's a bugs life". The little ones loved it here. They could all go on all the rides and we only had to wait 5 minutes at the most. They thought it was fun to feel like a small little bug.

Poor Makena says "it's tough being a bug"!! We went to the 3-D film and Makena did not like it one bit. Neither did Lexi for that matter. There was stuff landing on us, poking us, and spiders dropping from the ceiling. I even got stung by a bee. My favorite part was the end when you felt a bug roll under your bum in the seat. It was great!!!We got to see two parades that day!!! The Pixar parade which was the girls favorite!! The got to do more interacting with the characters and we were on the front row. The one thing I think they will remember most about the parade was we were sitting right under a bubble machine. So throughout the whole parade we had bubbles falling on us. We also got to see the Electric light parade that was fun too... Karli was so tired..she crashed for about two hours before the parade..But we woke her up to see all the fun lights.

This was a great day!!! There were not that many people and we got to take off our jackets and enjoy the warm weather. Some of our favorite rides were Nemo, Flying over California, and Toy Story Mania.

Day Two--Fantasyland

This was our first day at Disneyland!! We woke up bright and early at 6:30 to be there right when it opened at 8:00 am. The girls were so excited they could hardly stand it. Disneyland at Christmas time is amazing!!! You should see the decorations. We all loved the castle....especially at night. We felt like we were in a winter wonderland.......except for all the people.!!!! AAAAAAGH!!! When we walked in Main Street was wall to wall people!!! I do not do very well in crowds of people. I get very tense and irritable. So I quickly had to have an attitude change. I just told myself that this was how it was going to be all week and to deal with it. That seemed to help and I settled in to have fun the rest of the day!!!

Our first stop....was the Mad Hatter to get our Mickey ears. All four girls picked out their own special hat to match their very unique personalities. Shelby's was a pirate hat, Lexi created her own BLUE hat (her favorite color), Makena's fit her to a tee...a princess hat with a long veil in the back, and Karli's was a cute fuzzy pink one. They wore their hats everyday we were at Disneyland. After we got our hats we spent the day in Fantasy land. It took us the whole entire day because we had to wait at least an hour on every ride we went on.

Karli would not keep her hat on long enough for me to even get a picture, but she sure looked cute in her huge ears!!

That first day we were there we got to see the Christmas parade!!! It was so fun!!! We saw snowmen, nutcrackers, reindeer, and even Santa!!!

Our last stop in Fantasy land was "its a small world" . The girls loved this one, especially Makena and Karli. Of course it was all lit up for Christmas. Before we went I had one of my friends tell me that it snows everyday in Disneyland. Well, it actually does....you just have to be in the right place at the right time. And tonight we were!!! Right in front of "its a small world" it snowed for about 5 minutes!!! It was Awesome!!My girls were so wiped out after a full day of fun, that we missed the fireworks!!! And this is how they looked by the time we got back to our hotel!!!! They were pooooped!!!
