And she huffed and she puffed...

I know, I know 3 posts to cover one birthday!!! My little princess only turns 5 once. We finished off Kena's birthday by going to Pirate Pizza with her special little friend Hanna. We ate pizza and bread sticks and played arcade games. They had a blast!! Then we came home for cake and ice cream. Usually, I buy the girls cakes...but I decided to get domestic. I made this Princess castle cake for her!!! It turned out so cute, if I do say so myself. I was so worried but it turned out just the way I wanted it too. And the best part was she loved it!!!! Whether I do another homemade masterpiece is yet to be decided.

Wow....could these two get any cuter!!!

Apparently, Karli wanted us to see up her nose!

Princess Festival

Warning this is a long post!!!
Calling all Princesses to the Kingdom of Hatfieldadelphia!! Your favorite Princess friends are in need of your kindness, love, help. You are invited to wear your best Princess attire for a day of adventure, service, fantasy, and magic!!! So that is where we headed for Makena's special day!! She got all dressed up in her special dress and tiara and headed out to the Festival. She had a blast!!! She first rode (sat) in her carriage until she reached her first destination.
We first went to Neverland and played with Peter Pan, Wendy, and Captain Hook!! They told stories and flew to Neverland (on a trampoline). They also played crocodiles and mermaids. And this is the smile that was permanently on her face the whole entire day. We took pictures and even got autographs.

She got to meet so many people today. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Snow White, Bell, Ariel, the White Witch, the Queen of Hearts, Pocahontas, the Mad Hatter, wow the list goes on and on. She got to hug them, learn how to curtsy with them, climb up the tower with them, and even swim with them. While we were there we went on a scavenger hunt and helped save a Princess. We even got to have a special meeting with the King of Hatfieldadelphia!

She even got measured to see if she was a perfect fit to be a princess herself!!!

Yep, the Prince said she was a perfect FIT!!!! My perfect little princess!!!
Wow, we were even brave enough to take a picture with the beast!!!
And be silly with Cinderella's mean step sisters!!!
And have tea with the silly Mad Hatter!!!

She cooled off with Ariel in the wading pool!!
And we even got to see exotic animals!!!
At the end of the the day my little Princess was just plain Pooped!!! We had a total blast!!! What a fun day to spend with my little 5 year old on her birthday!! What was really fun was that almost everyone we met sang Happy Birthday to her!!!
The other part of her present was to attend the Grand Ball with her daddy!!! They had so much fun!! They learned how to do a special royalty dance, got introduced to the King, watched a show which included jugglers, dancers, and a jester!!! They spent a very special night together!! I think she had a very special birthday that I hope she will remember always.

Happy Birthday Kena!

My little girl turns 5!!! Holy cow! I can't believe she is going to be in Kindergarten. She is so, so excited. She loves that she gets to be a big girl like her big sisters. This birthday did not come soon enough for this BIG girl. We started with presents bright and early in the morning, because she had a full day ahead of her. Her first present was a ticket to go to the Princess Festival in Lindon.....what a perfect gift for my little Princess. Then she opened a pretty Princess dress and crown to wear to the festival from Grama Sindy. She also got a camera of her very own, a diary from the girls, and a Tinkerbell vet kit. Then is was off to get ready to go to the Princess Festival...

Romance Killer.....

The last night we spent in St. George was suppose to be a romantic night with my hubby in a really cool place called Eden's Keep. My sister so graciously said she would keep all my girls overnight and so we were excited to have some time to ourselves. Much needed time!!! We haven't even been on a date for months. So we dropped off the girls and went to dinner, did some shopping, and went back to the room. We had just settled in when the phone rang. Of course...Karli was not havin' it. My hubby went to go pick her up and by the time he got back she was sound asleep...so we set up her little bed in our fancy room and we all went to SLEEP!!!
Very romantic!!! I already feel like these places are a waste of money.....and then to top it off with my little romance killer. We woke up in the morning and instead of me sharing a nice breakfast in bed with my hubby, my little romance killer did. And then she continued with her morning by applying her makeup and doing her hair! And then to top it off...she relaxed proudly in my bed made for a queen and watched Dora the Explorer. The next time we do this...we are leaving the romance killer at HOME!!!!

I had to take a picture of the bathtub!!! It was my favorite thing!!

Fun in the Sun!

We Lynam's love the SUN as long as we have lots, and lots, of sunscreen!!! This was our third day in St. George. We spent most of the day at Sand Hollow with all our cousins!!! It was so fun. The kids played in the sand tried to build sand castles and had a blast in the water. And lucky for us we didn't end up with fly larvae...yes that sounds gross.

Karli loved the water and was a little dare devil as always!!! I swear this kid is not afraid of anything. She did think the water and more especially what was in the water was gross. But she was soon over that and out playing with all the other kids.
Enjoying one of her favorite things in the world....pokicles!!!!
Man I love these girls and their smiling faces!!
It makes me so happy when they are happy!

This is my favorite little man in the whole world. If my wish
could be granted to be blessed with a little boy this would be
the one I would want. Teagan is the sweetest, most
handsome little guy!! Too bad he belongs to my sis!!
I would take him in a minute.
After the lake we headed back to the hotel to do some more swimming!! I think we swam for about 2 more hours in the pool. Not to mention the at least 8 hours we spent the day before. Needless to say, when daddy asked if he could take the girls swimming after dinner tonight they all said they were tired of swimming. Now that is a first!!

Tarzan!

Back to Tuachan we go!! This time it was to see Tarzan! We had so much fun....it was the best one that I have seen yet. I don't really like to go see plays, but I do it for my girls because they love them. Tarzan had everything.....water flowing on the stage and down the rocks right next to us, apes flying over our heads, and not to mention a very built Tarzan that wasn't so hard to look at!!! The costumes were great and the girls were in aah from the minute it started until the end.

During intermission a monkey came down into the crowd and I really got it after I took this picture of him. He started to climb on me and tried to take away my camera....acting just like a monkey would. He was so into it...that it made Makena cry!!
After the show the girls were first in line to get their picture taken with the cast!! Little Tarzan, Jane and the big Tarzan...can you see what I mean!!

Here are a couple of crazy monkeys and then Kurchev...he was awesome!!!

We got to go to the play with our cousins, we didn't get to sit with
them..but we found them afterward. Right before the play we met
everyone at Pirate Pizza to celebrate Sekoya's birthday. Tonight
was the first night of lots of fun playing with our cousins.
