Mini Cheer

My backs too sore....my belts too tight my booty shakes from left to right!!!! This was one of Kena's favorite cheers. The girls are in heaven this week as they practice every day with the cheerleaders during Mini Cheer!!! They are so happy to be able to start participating in things again!!! I just don't know if mom is ready for all the running around again. I can never get good pictures of the girls the night of there performance...so I took some pictures at practice one day!!! Look how high Kena's kick is. This is her rally kick!!
Karli even had to get into the dancing. I could have put her on the preschool team but she didn't have the attention span for it... it's that ADD kicking in.
What a cute girl!!! Lexi was really getting into her dance and having fun!

After this week...Shelby has decided she wants to be a cheerleader for sure!!! She is so animated when she does her dance. I especially love that...like mother like daughter...when she is concentrating hard on something her tongue just manages to stick out. Hey...we can't help it.
These are my cute girls the night they performed at the football game!!! They all did so good and of course they were the cutest ones out there!! No, I am not biased at all!
This is Makena and her friend Makenna. She has 3 friends named Makenna, but as she says that is okay because I am the only one "N" Makena.

Shelby and her friend Bailey.

Lexi and......I am not sure!! Carsyn were are you!
Let's go Morgan....clap, clap. Let's go Morgan......clap, clap!!!

Carsyn....there you are!!! BFF's!!! Don't ya just love Lexi's green teeth!!! She just got done eating her green candy for dancing so good. We had a great night out with the girls!!! It was so much fun watching them. In a few years....this just might be them for real!!

My backwards child......

I would like to introduce you to my backwards child....

backwards......she eats all the crust off her toast/bread and gives me the middle. What? I don't even like the crust on my bread.
backwards.....my girls don't get dirty. Partly because I don't let them....and partly because they don't like it. This is by choice!!! This girl goes out the door and looks for the dirtiest thing she can find. She plays in the rocks and dirt every day and looks like this almost every day.

backwards.....i promise you don't want a picture of the next one. This kid will go poop in the toilet but not potty. i have never had a kid do that first!! They were always too scared.

backwards......this kid prefers her daddy over me any day!! But I am the mom....that can't be right. This kid loves, loves, loves her daddy. She is his little shadow. The only time she will pick me over him is if he has gotten mad at her.

backwards.....I am pretty sure she has ADD. She has such a short attention span. What could take my other girls hours to do...she is done in minutes. She pulls one thing out...within minutes we are on to the next and within minutes after that on to the next. I can't keep up!!
But even with all her little backward quirky things I love this kid with all my heart!!! She makes me laugh and keeps me smiling!! I don't know what I would do without her!

Look at Me mom..

Look at me mom.....i can ride a two-wheeler!!! Look at my brave little girl!! She has been begging her daddy to teach her to ride without her training wheels forever. Daddy finally gave in. So he did his little trick first...he took off her training wheels and her pedals and just had her sit on her bike and push with her feet. She practiced getting her balance for a couple of days then daddy put her pedals back on and off she went. He really didn't have to run behind her..she just got on and started pedaling. No she is a crazy maniac!!! Riding standing up, riding with one hand, driving crazy....good thing she is on a little bike.

Here she comes!!!!
There she goes!!!

I love this kid!! So full of life and so happy!! Way to go Kena, Kena!!

Back to School....

I can't believe my little Kena is in Kindergarten this year!! And when I mean little, I am not kidding. She is one of the smallest girls in her class! When we took her to get her shots, that she so bravely sat for, and her statistics said that she was only in the 3 percentile in height and weight. To top that off we always get asked if Makena and Karli are twins!!! Regardless of how tiny she is...she is heading off to school!! She is so excited!! She had to start school a week after the girls did and I thought she was going to die!! But today was her lucky day!!! What a cutie!!
This is Kena and her teacher Mrs. Stevens. We love her!! This was the same teacher Shelby got when she was in Kindergarten. Makena loves her too!!
My girls are growing up!!! Wow, time flies!! Another year older and wiser too......
They both looked so cute and grown up on the first day! Their happiness and excitement of being back home put a smile on my face!!!
Shelby still continues to be a great example and wonderful big sister. She is starting to get an attitude as of recent and I am sure that will get worse as time goes on. But....what stands out over the attitude is her fun personality. She is a crack up!! She is so witty and smart...she takes her dad and I off guard sometimes. Her Lynam blood is showing through...and I think Aunt Kim is her idol!!! She makes me crazy a lot of the time....but makes me laugh more. I can't believe she will be in middle school next year!!! Hold on for dear life MOM!!!

Lexi is my little sweetheart still!!! She is so loving and caring!! She always puts everyone first. She is such a good friend to everyone and she is always watching for that person who is left out so she can befriend them. She is the best sharer in our family!! She is so selfless... a quality that I hope that she carries throughout her life. I think she is the one who is the happiest about being back home and for her I am very happy!! She smiles a lot...something that I have missed. She is quickly learning Shelby's witt and humor~~~ She is so beautiful inside and out!!!
