Turkey Day

We spent Turkey day this year with my family!!! There was lots of food, fun, and family. The day was so nice...the kids spent most of the day outside playing. They jumped on the tramp, collected leaves, and ran and played with all the cousins. Then we ate the yummy food that my mom always makes so perfectly. And of course...my picky eaters wouldn't hardly even eat anything. They don't know what they are missing. Maybe one day we will have a break through.

After turkey...we decorated gingerbread houses. It is our tradition every year to decorate them on Thanksgiving. This year they all got to decorate their own miniature version. I think the younger ones at more candy then ended up on their houses. Even Karli got into it. Of course, she was one of the ones doing more eating than decorating.

At the end of the day all the grand kids got a new pair of PJs from grama to sleep in for the month of December and a puppet from great grama and pa. And the finished off the night by watching Santa Buddies. We all had a great time....ate too much.....and at least for me started to think about how close Christmas was.

Family Pictures!!

When we went home for Thanksgiving I asked my sister to take some pictures for us. Mainly so I could send out Christmas cards, but also the girls pictures and my blog needed an update. She did pretty good don't ya think.

My little teenager!!! That statement is more true now than ever before.

My little toothless sweetheart!!! Look how long her hair is getting!! It is now past the waist of her pants.

My little stinker!!! She is still very high maintenance. Unfortunately she hasn't grown out of that!!

My little boss!!! What a cutie!! Her dad always tells her she is perfect and now she totally believes it!! We are in trouble with this one.
Karli is so funny!! Everytime I went to take a picture she would try to pose. In this one she kept putting her foot up!! She is a ham, the more attention she has the better.

LIZARDS!!

Can you believe that my girls would be catching lizards? They caught this little guy and kept passing him back and forth. I was so surprised they would even touch the thing. Not to mention that ....the day before they wanted to catch one that was about 10 times this size. What has happened to my sugar and spice and everything nice girls? Just kidding, I love it...as long as they don't make me touch it.

My big girl bed!!!

My little Miss Karli is growing up!!! She is now out of her crib and into her big girl/toddler bed!!! How exciting is that!! We transitioned out of the crib a little earlier than I wanted to...but Aunt Kacey needed the crib for baby Teagan. She started out loving her bed, but now I am not so sure!!! She has a hard time going to bed at nights...she cries and cries. But I don't know if that is the bed or because of our move. The one thing I know she loves about it, is she gets to jump, jump, jump!!! She thinks that is way to fun!! Especially when she is doing it while mom is saying..."no". That even makes it more fun!!! I can't believe that she is growing up so fast.

Our next big step in the big girl process is getting rid of the "bink" Now that is going to be a little more difficult. She is very attached to it and so is MOM!!
