Crazy Hair Day!!!!
Almost!!!!
I love that she is finally talking...daddy has been worried about her because she was not saying much. But who needs to when everyone waits on you and gives you what you want just with a grunt. The terrible two's are TERRIBLE don't get me wrong, but I also love this stage because of the things she says with her cute little voice. Karli's new favorite word is "omost"!! Everything you ask her...are you done with your lunch?...reply "omost".....are you ready for bed?....reply "omost"!! It is so funny!!! I die laughing every time she says it.

Scrapbook Expo!!!
I spent a way fun day today with my BFF Heather!!! We went to the scrapbook expo and it was way fun!!! I spent way to much money!!! I was on a mission to try and figure out what I was going to do to continue my scrap booking......the mission was impossible. I haven't scrap booked in forever.....and I definitely need to. I am so so behind. I do want to keep doing what I have been doing cuz I love it...but it takes way to much time. I thought I wanted to go digital until today and now I don't know....I did spend a lot of money on stuff that will probably collect dust but I had lots of fun!!! It was a great break from the kiddos and it was great to get together with with my BFF. Thanks Heather for a fun day!!

St. Patricks Day!!
So we brought in the lucky day with a huge mess from our mischievous leprechauns!!! Man they can make a mess. The girls woke up to crate paper strung from here to there, tissue paper all over the ground, along with candy wrappers, shamrocks, and all of their toys. It was a fun morning of cleaning up after them. Those little leprechauns also left a bunch of treats and fun behind.
They got to have their favorite cereal for breakfast. Eat some of their gold!!! (rolo's)

Karli is saying Jackpot!!!!
The leprechauns left them green silly string, slinkys, candy, and the movie of Pete's dragon. We finished off the day with green roll up pancakes (crepes) and green eggs. They also wanted green milk but that is where I drew the line. We had a fun day!! One that Kena was counting down for weeks. She kept saying..."mom when is that green day happening?"

You know you are in trouble....
I know I am in trouble when my four year old starts talking back to me.. The worst time of the day for me is mealtime.....I usually have kids saying they are starving, then I have to cook them something totally different from what we are having, only to have to fight them FOREVER to eat it. It makes me CRAZY!!! If they are starving why don't they just eat. Seriously, does it really take 1 hour to eat breakfast? So the other night Makena was doing her normal thing...not eating her dinner. I had already asked her about 4 times to please eat her dinner. So then I said to her "Makena, how many times do I have to ask you to eat your dinner?" And she said, "20 times and then I am still not going to eat it". I tried to be mad but ended up laughing!!! What is a mother to do? I would really like to starve my kids all day so they can be grateful for what they do have.

Update on Protein C...
My hubby went to his doctor today and between what he said and through a little research on the Internet. The girls have a 50/50 chance of inheriting the deficiency. It shouldn't be a problem and we shouldn't have to get them tested until they are older and in need of using birth control. If they do have the deficiency they will be a greater risk of blood clots if they are on birth control.
Wow...does that mean I have a bunch of grand kids to look forward to... I hope so!!! Because the other thing I read about the deficiency that it can cause multiple miscarriages. With my hubby being a father of 6 girls that could be a lot of hard ache in our future. Dang you genetics....!!!!!!
Hopefully, they will all be free from it. But for now we don't have to worry about anything unless one of them has any symptoms.
