First Day of School!!!

So I can't believe that school has started!! Where did the summer go? We just had so much fun this summer or heartache that is just flew by. The girls were SOOOO nervous about school. Almost enough that they wanted to stay home. I think I was even more nervous than they were. And I still am!! I still don't know very many people and it is scary sending your kids to a place with a bunch of strangers. But they are doing great!!! They have met a bunch of new girls and come home with a smile on their face every day!!!
So this is my little worry wart, I still can't believe she is getting so old. She misses home a lot. Just the other day at breakfast she said, "Mom this has been a nice vacation and all, but can we go back home." I think she would jump at the chance of moving back. But I do give her credit for trying to make this work. Her sister prays for her every night that she will find a BFF. It is so cute!!

And this is my little social butterfly!!! I asked her how her first day was and she said, "It was a blast"!!! What more can you ask for!!! She even has a couple of BFFs, that is what she calls them. And she absolutely loves her teacher.
This is how they are everyday!!! The go hand in hand to school. I love that they are so close!!!
I can't wait until my little boss gets to be included next year.

Speaking of my little boss!!! She was so upset that her sisters got to start school and she didn't!!!
It has been torture on her waiting for her school to start. But she does get to spend some quality time now with her little sister. After we dropped the girls off we went and played at the park until it got to hot. I hope these two grow to be as close as their older sisters.

BRACES!!!!

So my little girl is growing up!!! The Saturday before school started we went into the orthodontist to just have a check up and walked out with braces!!! My little teenager was so excited she could barely keep it in!!! I think she wanted to do cartwheels right there in the doctors office. We had been promising her for about 2 yrs that she was going to be able to get them on. Well, we finally fulfilled that promise. Her teeth were so crooked and she kept getting teased at school. "Bucktooth, Beaver, Big teeth" Kids can be so cruel!!! Well, not anymore!! She is so excited and is taking very good care of them. I am so excited for her too!!!

Our Last Hoorah!!!!

We spent our last hoorah of summer at Grama's house!!! We met daddy half way and we went to the Demolition Derby!!! I thought it would be fun for the girls to see what a derby is all about. They thought it was so fun to see the cars run into each other. And of course my little boss was always rooting for the pink one. We got there a little to late so we didn't end up with any seats, but the girls had fun with their cousins sitting on the ground peering through the fence. Even my little bug got in on the action.

I think the girls had fun!! But not enough, to do it again!!! We also spent one night roasting marshmallows in Grama's back yard. I think the girls like roasting more than they like eating. They look pretty tasty to me!!!

And last but not least the girls got to stay up and watch movies a couple of nights. One was outside under the stars with Grama's projector!!! The girls absolutely love this. We get blankets and go lay on the grass under the stars and watch movies. With lots of candy and popcorn!!! Another night we watched one which included a lot of nail biting and covering of eyes!!! It really wasn't that scary!!! All in all we had a great time. And I even got to get pampered while I was there. I got my hair done, my nails done, and an awesome pedicure. What more can a girl ask for!!! It was a great way to end our summer.

Flower Power!!!

So you ask...."What do you do when it is too hot to go outside and play?" Get creative!!! One afternoon when we weren't swimming the girls decided to entertain themselves by putting almost every flower clippy we own on their heads!!! Gives a new meaning to flower girl!!! Pretty cute!!! My little bug kept looking at herself and laughing in the mirror!! What cute girls I have!!
And what imaginations!!!
