One of my favorite things to do in the fall is picking out pumpkins!!! I had planned an outing for us that included a hayride and pumpkin pickin...but the weather was not cooperative at all!! It was so rainy and wet. So that canceled our hayride, but we weather the storm and picked out our pumpkins anyway. Can you tell how excited Karli was? She had so much fun. She would pick one up and say this one, then put it down and say no, then pick up another. By the time she was done pickin and playing in rain puddles she was wet up to her knees.
This was the one Shelby wanted but she couldn't quite pick it up!!! Lift Shelby!!
We got a fun surprise with we got to the pumpkin patch...our friends were there pickin too.This is one of Lexi's BFF's. The have so much fun together. They are both growing up so big. These too are friends too!! They are in the same kindergarten class together and this photo will be displayed at their arranged marriage in about 16 years. It may not have to be arranged after all. Can you see how close Makena is to him? She even has her arm around him. And if you ask her...he is already her husband. So cute!!!!

This year we decided to not gut out our pumpkins so they would last longer and since we would be home for Halloween. So after pickin, we came home and stickered our pumpkins into a mummy, a pirate, a kitty, and a princess. Pretty cute I might add!! And the girls got to do it all by themselves!
