We decided to get away for Labor day weekend and have a mini vacation. So where did we go!! HOME of course. We went up to Salt Lake and stayed in a hotel. That is the girls most favorite thing to do. It wouldn't matter if we didn't do anything.....just staying in the hotel would be enough. It was a bonus that the hotel had a mini
water park inside. The girls had a lot of fun..there was a mini jungle gym and some water slides. We only stayed for an hour but they had fun anyway. I guess swimming never gets old to kids!!!
We also went to the zoo and saw all the baby animals. The baby giraffe, snow leopard, tigers, and
meerkats.... We missed the baby elephant by one week. We were so sad, but we did get to vote for the name. Here are my little monkeys!!!
My little bug had so much fun!! She absolutely loves animals. She also got tuckered out, so she decided to take a little cat nap on mommy. And I get to document that I was actually there!!!

We also got to see a lot of friends!!! We had so much fun at the Houston's...catching up, eating, and letting kids play. We also went up to Morgan and got to see everyone!!! It felt so good to actually go to church and know everyone there. Thanks to Sarah and Ryan for the great meal and Bishop and Diana for letting us stay with you. The girls got to see all their best buds and I don't think any one of us wanted to leave. But as always.....good things have to come to an end.

We miss you! We are so glad you got to go home for a visit. It's always nice to see family and friends again. We love seeing pics of your family. They always turn out so CUTE! Last time we went to the zoo there wasn't a lot of animals so the kids got bored. Hopefully we'll get to go when there are baby animals. See you in November around Thanksgiving. Love ya!
